The Museum exhibits the development of life on earth, with particular emphasis on terrestrial vertebrates; it boasts original dinosaur bones discovered during the Polish-Mongolian expeditions to the Gobi Desert. The facility also presents a reconstruction of vertebrates from the unique cemetery of Mesozoic reptiles and amphibians in Krasiejewo (Opole province), and an impressive model of an African Australopithecus (named Lucy). The latest exhibition shows the predators from different parts of the world and their victims.
