Bolesław Prus Monument (Pomnik Bolesława Prusa)

This monument honours Poland’s leading writer from the Positivist period (1847-1912). One of his greatest works is ‘The Doll’ ('Lalka'), his most ‘Varsovian’ piece which effectively captures the mood of 19th century Warsaw. The author’s grave is located at Powązki Cemetery.
